Courses of Studies

The school is a minority school and affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

The programme of studies is planned to give the students a general education in accordance with the aims and objectives of the school and the syllabus laid down by the council. At the end of Class X candidates appear for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination.

Blue House:

(Kalpana Chawla) The colour blue signifies the sky and the sea. It is representative of intelligence and faith. This colour is meant to inculcate in our students, a loyalty towards fulfilling their responsibilities. This house is named after the famous astronaut Kalpana Chawla as we believe that she inspires our students to become trust worthy citizens of our country.

Green House:

(Bachendri Pal) The colour green signifies life, nature and growth. This house is named after the iconic mountaineer Bachendri Pal who has scaled Mt. Everest. She inspires our students to reach great heights by growing well in their lives. They learn that nothing is impossible to achieve if you put your mind to it. They also learn to live in harmony with our environment by respecting and nurturing it.

Red House:

(Shakuntala Devi) The colour red signifies passion, fire and action. This house is named after the famous mathematician Shakuntala Devi. She was so passionate about numbers and made calculations so fast that she was known as the ‘human computer’. She inspires our students to pursue their goals with great enthusiasm and be active at all times.

Yellow House:

(Sarojini Naidu) The colour yellow is representative of happiness, hope and cheerfulness. This house is named after the famous poet “Bharat Kokila’ Dr. Sarojini Naidu. Her poems put up such beautiful imagery that it always brings hope and cheer. She inspires our students to always be optimistic in life and full of energy so that they learn how to handle failures and disappointments.
